These chapters recount the reigns of Rehoboam and Abijah, highlighting both failure and moments of faith in Judah’s leadership. Rehoboam turns away from God, leading to invasion and loss, but humbles himself and experiences partial restoration. Abijah later confronts Israel, affirming reliance on God, and despite being outnumbered, Judah prevails because they trust in Him.

Turning away from God brings consequences, but humility opens the door for restoration. When you choose to rely on God rather than your own strength, you can face overwhelming situations with confidence.
